Helsinki School of Economics (HSE)
Established in 1911, the Helsinki School of Economics (HSE) is the largest and leading business school in Finland. It provides the most diverse environment for world-class study and research in business subjects and an innovative community of approximately 4,500 students and over 400 researchers, teachers and service staff. In 2006, the HSE awarded 20 doctorates, 346 MSc degrees and 70 MBA degrees. There were over 2,500 people studying on the HSE’s Open University courses. The annual budget of the HSE last year was €38.6 million, of which 63% was from the state budget and 37% from external funding.
